Excessive heat, particularly when kites are left inside vehicles during Australian summers, can cause bladder and valve failures. If your kite has experienced heat-related damage, we recommend replacing the complete bladder set rather than repairing individual valves.

If the outer leading edge or strut fabric has been torn, it should be professionally repaired before fitting new bladders.
