Foil Drive Assist MAX+ – The All-Rounder Foil Assist, Upgraded

The Assist MAX+ replaces the original Assist MAX as Foil Drive's all-rounder. The idea is the same: one compact unit that adds power, runtime and range to the foil setup you already ride. What's new is a 43V system, more power, a built-in tilt sensor, better Bluetooth and the new FM+ battery range. It's small and light enough that you barely notice it once you're up and flying.

Each bundle includes the FM+ 650 battery (648Wh), the V3 Controller, a 43V charger and your choice of motor.

Who it suits

• Surf foilers who want longer sessions and more waves, in more conditions
• Downwinders who want to motor upwind and do runs without a shuttle
• Wing and flatwater riders who want easier, faster take-offs and quick recovery after a fall
• Riders learning to pump who want to practise without burning energy on constant restarts
• Riders moving to smaller boards and foils who want some extra thrust to get going
• Best for riders under 100 kg on small to mid-length boards, including advanced riders who want to keep weight down without losing power

Which motor option?

• Retro-fit High Power Motor Kit: the most thrust. Mounts to your existing mast with a mini pod.
• Integrated Mast High Power Motor: for Foil Drive integrated masts. It's the cleanest and lightest install.
• Retro-fit Standard Motor Kit: the cheapest way in. Plenty of power for surf, pumping practice and lighter riders.

Assist MAX+ vs Fusion

The MAX+ balances power, weight and runtime. Fusion is for riders who want maximum thrust and the longest sessions, but it's bigger and heavier. If you want one unit that does it all without changing how your foil feels, go with the MAX+.

Important: Batteries from the original Assist MAX (Gen 2) do not fit the MAX+. Use FM+ batteries only. The MAX+ works with V2 High Power and Standard motors, and with V2 and V3 controllers.
