The Duotone Foil Assist AL is a lightweight electric foil (eFoil) assist kit that attaches to your existing foil setup, giving you motor power on demand for take-off, pumping and catching swell while keeping the pure, free feel of foiling once you're up and riding. Unlike a full eFoil, the battery sits on your body in an eHarness rather than weighing down the board, so there's minimal drag and a full range of movement. The integrated motor pod sits 15 cm above the fuselage with internally routed cables for clean glide and easy assembly. With the highest-torque motor in its class (33 kg of thrust) you get on foil sooner and can ride smaller foils, while the folding propeller opens only under power to minimise drag. It's compatible with all Duotone foils (Free, Glide, Whizz and Carve) and any wing or prone board using standard US foil tracks.

Is the Duotone Foil Assist an eFoil?
Not quite. It's an electric foil assist — a motor that powers you onto foil and helps with pumping and catching waves, then lets you ride freely under your own glide. A full eFoil runs the motor continuously; the Foil Assist is lighter and keeps the natural feel of foiling.
What foils and boards is it compatible with?
All Duotone foils (Free, Glide, Whizz and Carve) and any wing or prone foilboard with standard US foil tracks. For best results use a front wing of 900 cm² or larger and a board of at least 35 L.
How long does the battery last?
Around 45 minutes of average runtime. Two Duotone batteries are included so you can swap and extend your session.
How much thrust does it have?

Is it suitable for beginners?
